Merck regards the implementation of REACH throughout the European Union as an opportunity to extend its confidential cooperation with all its customers in one further aspect. The exchange of information required under REACH, concerning uses on the one hand and the assessment thereof based on substance-intrinsic data on the other, will further promote communication in the supply chain. Merck wants to make this communication as efficient as possible so as to enable all interested parties to derive a commercial benefit despite the increased effort required by REACH.
